Do a double hunt and have the best of both worlds! We offer a double hunt to a hunter who wants to hunt for a trophy, but also wants to ensure they have a freezer full of meat when they return home. With the purchase of a double moose, double caribou or double black bear hunt our guest has the luxury of holding out for that great trophy while having that second license to take another animal that might not pass as trophy class.

In the past few years the eastern coyote has taken up residence in Newfoundland. You may legally harvest a coyote on any moose, caribou or black bear license that you are holding, however once you have filled your big game license it also ends your hunt for coyote on that license.

Party licenses are available for moose and caribou hunters who want to hunt together on a single license. Both hunters may carry a weapon and hunt together and harvest one animal on that license.

We carry a wide range of equipment and we ensure that its maintained in the best possible condition. Our equipment includes 4 x 4 trucks, ATV’s, 8 x 6 wheel Argos, motorized boats and canoes. With such a wide range of equipment, we can offer our guests a variety of hunts to fit many physical conditions.

Rifle & Black Powder hunting for moose, caribou and black bear begins on the second Saturday in September with the exclusive bow only hunt beginning the last Saturday of August of year each and running for two weeks. A hunting week is 5 1/2 day duration and begins on a Sunday and ends the following Saturday at noon. Sunday hunting is not permitted until November.

The hunter to guide ratio is 1:1 or 2:1 depending on your preference. Baited spring black bear hunts are 2:1 guide to hunter ratio.

W can arrange taxidermy work from a local taxidermist who has years of experience working on the game animals of Newfoundland & Labrador. Meat cutting, freezing and packaging is readily available. In each case, we have secured a very professional taxidermist & expert butchers to ensure your game is handled in the way you would want.

Shipping to locations in Canada and the United States is done either by air cargo or refrigerated truck

The average weather temperature during September is 55F, October is 45F and November is 38F.

We accommodate archery, as well as rifle or black powder, at any time during hunting season, but the exclusive bow hunt preceding the rifle season by two weeks allows for prime hunting and excellent stalking. Special pricing is available for archers in the exclusive archery season.

Fishing is available during part of the spring black bear season and during the exclusive bow hunting season. Hunters may fish at no additional cost outside of the license fee.
